Asian Fried Ice Cream

Sometimes fried is always better! This fried ice cream recipe has just a touch of an Asian twist that your family will surely fall in love with.

  • 4 #20 scoops Blue Bunny® Premium Peanut Butter Panic® Ice Cream
  • 1 box of tempura batter
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup chocolate sauce
  • whip cream and mint for garnish


Pre-scoop ice cream, place on tray lined with parchment paper. Freeze. Mix tempura batter according to box instructions. Dip frozen scoops into batter and place back on lined tray and freeze again. Repeat for thicker coating. Heat vegetable oil to 350 degrees F. Carefully place ice cream in hot vegetable oil. Fry 1-2 minutes or until batter is golden brown. Remove ice cream from oil and place into a pan lined with paper towels to drain off excess oil. Transfer fried ice cream to 4 small bowls and drizzle each with 1 tbsp of chocolate sauce. Garnish with whip cream and mint. Serve immediately.
