Chocolate Hazelnut

Bon appétit! These fancy French pastries are served "a la mode" with Blue Bunny® Premium Super Fudge Brownie® ice cream and fresh raspberries.
Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (or cups, depending on the number) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (or cups, depending on the number) powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 large egg whites
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup hazelnuts
  • Blue Bunny® Premium Super Fudge Brownie®
  • Fresh raspberries

Instructions

Pre-heat oven to 350°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, salt and cocoa powder. Whisk in egg whites, unsalted butter and hazelnuts until combined. Let mix sit out at room temperature for one hour. Spoon out 2 tablespoons of batter onto parchment paper. Spread out batter to 5 inches in diameter using the back of a spoon dipped in water. Bake for 8 minutes or until edges are slightly darkened. Quickly remove tuiles from oven and drape over cup for desired shape. Let tuiles cool and gently remove from cup. Serve with a generous scoop of Blue Bunny® Premium Super Brownie Fudge ice cream and fresh raspberries.
