Dessert Canapés
According to Chef Joe, ice cream dessert canapés are becoming very popular. Try this elegant, light dessert made with rainbow cookies, Blue Bunny® Premium French Vanilla Ice Cream, caramel syrup and fresh strawberries and grapes.
Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients
- 3 store-bought rainbow cookies
- 1 strawberry, sliced thin
- 3 1-oz. scoops of Blue Bunny® Premium French Vanilla Ice Cream
Instructions
Put a small amount of caramel syrup on the bottom of each rainbow cookie and arrange them a serving plate. Put a strawberry slice on top of each cookie, then top with the mini scoops of ice cream. Return to freezer to set, if necessary. Before serving, garnish with a sprinkling of powdered sugar and grapes or berries. Makes three bite-sized canapés.

Wow, I am thinking about an all chocolate canapes with a dipped chocolate strawberry on the top. Excellent.
