Granola Splits

This delicious dessert is so healthy it could be served for breakfast!
Difficulty: Easy
Equipment: Plate, Whisk, Bowl, Ice Cream Scoop
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 4 servings


  • 1 cup strawberry all fruit spread
  • 3 tbsp. orange juice
  • 2 cups low-fat granola
  • 2 cups Blue Bunny® Sweet Freedom® Banana Split Ice Cream
  • 4 firm bananas, sliced
  • Fat-free whipped topping (optional)


Combine strawberry spread and orange juice in small bowl, mix well. Place granola in food processor or blend; process until medium fine. Transfer to a bowl or resealable plastic bag. Form ice cream into four scoops, coat scoops in ground granola. For each serving, place one sliced banana on a plate; top with a granola coated ice cream scoop, 1/4 cup strawberry mixture and a dollop of whipped topping if desired.

I served this recipe for breakfast. Yummy! The grandkids loved it and I knew I was serving a healthy fun breakfast.
