Pistachio Ice Cream Trifle

This beautiful, layered dessert is perfect for a dinner party or an everyday treat. Layers of pound cake and Blue Bunny® Premium Pistachio Almond Ice Cream are accented with cranberry sauce, bananas, whipped cream and a fresh strawberry for a delightful mélange of flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. cranberry sauce
  • 2 slices pound cake, cut to fit serving glass
  • 3 - 2 oz. scoops of Blue Bunny® Premium Pistachio Almond Ice Cream
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 1 oz. whipped cream
  • 1 strawberry, sliced and fanned

Instructions

Take a clear, short drinking glass and spoon cranberry sauce into the bottom. Add a slice of the pound cake, then a scoop of ice cream and the final cake round. Push down on cake to fuse the layers closer together. Add another scoop of ice cream, smooth it down and top with three slices of banana and whipped cream. Finish with the last scoop of ice cream and garnish with the fanned strawberry.
