| Key financial management responsibilities for budgets, forecasts, monthly accounting processes, monthly reporting processes and analytical support for logistics.
Manage the annual development and monthly/quarterly reset of standard costs and actual cost results. Manage the logistics capital investment analysis.
Develop the decision support tools and financial models to analyze the cost/benefit tradeoffs, analyze demand/MRP data to determine optimal safety stock, inventory levels and order quantities. Develop scorecards, including metrics definition, target setting, and results measurement. Monitor, report, analyze and forecast key drivers from a supply chain perspective that impact financial results.
Manage the monthly close process including timely and accurate financial and variance analysis. Participate in the identification and standardization of key business issues, design of analytical approaches, and development of business plans including strategic financial planning for cash flow, ROI, and capital and operating expenditures. Provide financial analysis for hedging and risk management activities. Play a key role in accumulating and reporting the total value and operational characteristics of the total investment portfolio.
Serve as a financial expert to logistics leadership on complex initiatives with strategic importance.
Through supervisory responsibilities, build strong, effective and high performance teams. Strengthen quality of talent through assessment, coaching and feedback.
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required. MBA, CPA or Certified Management Accountant preferred. The ideal candidate will also possess a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial management and strategic planning.
