| This person will plan, direct, analyze, design, develop, maintain, improve, and implement business processes and corresponding software applications to allow Wells' Dairy to function according to user/customer needs for the assigned area. Will supervise members of an assigned team, with at least one direct report. Will need to possess excellent project management skills, working moderate to large project from concept exploration through implementation. Will also need to possess excellent people skills for building solid relationships with the business areas represented by the team. The main focus will surround operations, meaning that familiarity with any of the following areas will be helpful: Manufacturing systems and processes (especially Process manufacturing tied to the Dairy Industry), Corporate and Plant Quality Control, Maintenance Management, Procurement and Transportation Management. Understanding of Business Intelligence, especially as it may relate to these areas will also be useful.
Technology: Strong Oracle Applications and Oracle Database skills are required of the position. Development tools used are PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle APEX. Experience with OBIEE and Java/J-Developer would be a plus.
Experience: Seven years of experience with programming and designing applications combined with project and team management experience.
Education: BS degree relating to computer science or engineering is desired but consideration will be given where appropriate.

Will also need to possess excellent people skills for building solid relationships with the business areas represented by the team. The main focus will surround operations, meaning that familiarity with any of the following areas will be helpful: Manufacturing systems and processes (especially Process manufacturing tied to the Dairy Industry), Corporate and Plant Quality Control, Maintenance Management, Procurement and Transportation Management. Understanding of Business Intelligence, especially as it may relate to these areas will also be useful.

| The Application Software Administrator is responsible for providing technical setup and assistance for the enterprise application software environments.
Responsible for configuration, resource monitoring, and trouble-shooting enterprise application software.
Assist development team members as a technical resource for enterprise application software issues within Information Services, presenting a customer-focused approach.
Exhibit proficient technical skills/abilities related to current application and database architecture environments.
Documentation and effective communication of enterprise application software related technologies, standards, and procedures according to organizational needs.
Responsible for the implementation and administration of enterprise application software to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
The ideal candidate will have an Associates or Bachelors Degree in the IS field of study or the equivalent in training/experience. Prefer 3-5 years of related work experience.
The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge and experience with a relational database, UNIX Operating System and application administration.
Knowledge/Profiency of the following:
MS Windows and UNIX/Linux
Lawson, Unicenter Services Desk, Mainsaver, Prescient, Oracle Application Suite.
Languages: SQL, HTML, PERL, Unix Shell Scripting
Database: Oracle, MS SQL Server
Must possess strong interpersonal, communication and team building skills, with effective problem-solving and organizational abilities. |
