| Responsible for assisting Marketing Manager new product development efforts by leading cross-functional teams through new product/package concept evaluation, proto-type creation, consumer testing, manufacturing feasibility, package development and design, financial analysis, and product launch.
Responsible for assisting Marketing Manager in product line management functions including, but not limited to: product discontinuation/exit strategy, pricing and pro forma financial analysis, marketing research, package development, sales promotion material, product launch plans and execution. Evaluates customer complaints and recommends new features, products, and programs.
Responsible for evaluating competitive products and suggests features and enhancements for product lines to meet anticipated customer needs. Remains abreast of emerging technologies affecting company's product line.
Responsible for prioritizing and directing Research and Development activity. Provides feedback and follow-up on proto-type development and continuous product improvement.
Responsible for interfacing with Manufacturing and Engineering on new product initiatives. Understanding and applying basic machine capabilities to new or existing products. Coordinates with Purchasing, Demand Planning, and Scheduling on all new and existing product forecasts, ingredient, and packaging needs.
Responsible for providing input and direction to Marketing Services Team on new product selling, advertising and promotional materials.
Responsible for communicating and assisting Sales with new product intros, discontinued product. Preparing technical information for catalogs, videos, and other product and promotional material.
Supports Marketing Managers in development and application of consumer insight.
Assists in development and execution of Annual Business Plans.
Supports Marketing Manager in budget management, field sales support, and ongoing analysis and reporting of business results.

| This senior professional will lead strategic recommendations for and execution of Wells' Dairy's overall Category Development vision and business objectives to gain a stronger consultative position with our customers. They will drive overall skill development and improve functional strength of the entire Category Development team.
They must plan, develop and deliver customer and category marketing strategies/tactics around the four sales controllables of pricing, promotion, merchandising & distribution, through the Category Management process. This professional will also manage a unique team with diverse skill sets.
This professional must have experience with the 8 step process of Category Management and have skills using, syndicated data, Spectra, Space Management Software, Planogram, and Effective Item Assortment (EIA). This professional must have the strength to be able to train and develop their staff in Category Management skills, systems, and techniques.
