Wells Dairy Inc. currently has an opening for a Divisional Sales Manager Northeastern Division. This individual will be responsible for development, implementation, and attainment of sales programs matching strategic growth plans. Plans, controls and directs activities of the sales force to attain maximum sales volume, while developing maximum potential volume for National Accounts. Accounts values are up to $100 million. Responsible for the attainment of sales goals in order to sustain strategic, profitable growth for both existing Regional Retail Accounts and New Regional Retail Accounts. Develops and manages annual budgets and P&L's for Regional Retail Account Sales. Also responsible for developing and implementing sales programs to support strategic plans and goals of the company. Will oversee the activity of the Regional Retail Selling Teams, including the Account Managers and distributors. Responsible for development, coaching and annual reviews for Account Managers. Leads 360 degree communications. Responsible for the alignment of the Account Selling Team and the Sales Operations Team. Responsible for coordination between all Business Units. Accountable for execution of Regional Retail sales and Marketing Plans. Expert in presentation of these plans. Investigates competitive activity in the field and recommends changes in company products and policies. Maintains contact with key accounts, assists with complex customer complaints, and key business development. Provides input to Marketing regarding new products or enhancements to existing products based on customer comments and sales performance. Under general direction, this position is responsible for development and management of the profitable sales of frozen dessert products to select national and regional foodservice / impulse operators identified as corporate accounts. Specifically looking for selling in the Convenience Channel where there would be management of accounts, strategic development of target accounts, presentation preparedness, and insight generation. Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communications and professional relationship with key decision makers at all levels within customer organization. Responsible for communication with Director/National Sales Manager on any anticipated variance from assigned budgeted objectives. Responsible for managing and evaluating regional/customer P&L status relevant to achieivement of budget objectives. Responsible for achieving divisional sales and profit objectives for the corporate account segment as assigned by the Director, National Accounts-Foodservice Group. Responsible for developing short and long term strategic plans that assure objective attainment for the corporate account segment. Responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities. Responsible for effectively managing and leading direct sales and/or broker representative on execution of regional plan in assigned regional market area.
