Wells Enterprises, Inc. , the maker of delicious Blue Bunny ice cream, is looking for Human Resource Interns for the summer of 2013 in LeMars, IA, the "Ice Cream Capital of the World" . Interns will have unique opportunities to work on various projects important to the continued success of our organization and will be exposed to different areas within their area of internship. We prefer interns that would be currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior at their institution and should be working towards and applicable degree within the applied for internship area. We also prefer a current 3.0 or higher G.P.A. and previous internship or work experience. Desirable candidates are those who possess strong characteristics in problem-solving, team focus, a continuous improvement mindset and a strong emphasis on personal initiative. Wells Enterprises, Inc. - the maker of Blue Bunny ice cream is looking for a summer Intern to work with our Sr. Finance Manager, Mergers and Acquisition to aid in research and reporting towards mergers and acquisitions to ensure continued growth and profitability; helps build scenarios around strategic opportunities; conducts financial modeling for target opportunities; provides analysis process and the conduct of due diligence. This position will be located at our state of the art Corporate Center in LeMars, IA; the "Ice Cream Capital of the World." This Intern should have a desire in the knowledge of financial analysis as related to mid to long term forecasting as well as of project management tools and techniques. This Intern will assist in the work and development of: 1. Support Strategy team to develop strategy tools for management use, gather management responses and synthesis responses in easy to access format. 2. Support in development of knowledge repository of different in-organic growth options, i.e. Alliances, Joint Ventures and Licensing. 3. Support in development of different Exit Strategies i.e. IPO, Merger, Acquisition and Private Leveraged Buyout. 4. Perform ice cream industry research for growth trends, commodity price changes and track competitive landscape. 5. Preparation and compilation of storybook materials and / or presentations for use with Internal Leadership and external parties. 6. Benchmarks food industry and general economic trends; evaluates the enterprise¿s industry positioning and recommends action plans to respond to environmental changes. Interns will have unique opportunities to work on various projects important to the continued success of our organization and will be exposed to different areas within their area of internship.
