Located at our state of the art Corporate Center and R & D facilities equipped with Sensory labs, beautiful R & D labs and a Culinary kitchen. Looking for a strong R & D leader to assist Wells Enterprises in becoming the "#1 Ice Cream Company in America."
Leading, directing and developing the Product Development team to become a world class organization. Primary owner of New Product Development process and strategic components of Product Innovation.
Responsible for leading and directing the Product Development team.
Responsible for all new products, new product development process, and serving as a stakeholder in the NPD steering team.
Responsible for participating in the overall R&D budgeting process, as well as jointly being responsible for Wells pilot plant expenditures, equipment needs and utilization of equipment to develop new processes and prototypes.
Responsible for leading and promoting a culture of Innovation throughout the organization.
Responsible for strategic planning, asset allocation and coordinating cross-functional projects.
Fiscal responsibility and effectiveness of team and projects.
Responsible for working with team to increase their awareness of competitors through benchmarking and best practice intelligence with the goal to raise the level of expertise amongst the team.
Responsible for driving efficiencies and designing Quality into new and existing products and processes at Wells Enterprises.
Responsible for building alignment with Marketing and Supply Chain partners and resolving issues related to innovation/new product development and manufacture.
